National Women's History Month - MiniZineSeries

This is the second lady that has helped me out in incredible amounts, she takes her camera everywhere she goes and articulately captures her worldly travels. She is currently making strong moves and building her portfolio as a freelance photographer.

What made you decide to choose photography as a means of expression?

Photography is something i have always had an interest in: the idea of visually documenting an experiance and able to share with an audience or to go back through photos and ''relive'' it all 

Does a picture look for you, or do you look for the picture?

I think it's abit of both, like a famous landmark for example would be something thats in the mind i should take a photo of that but on the hand i like to look for the picture that would not be the typical way of shooting something, many people just look keep eyelevel with things and you could say are not experiancing the world around them to the full extent they could so by taking a photo a differnt way its just gives another view of looking at things 

Where would you like to go with this skill in the future?

Ideally id like to make photography my career its something i enjoy doing and id like to hopefully get people to view things differently from ''the norm'' and hopefully there mind will be taken into the photo asif it was part of there experiance too

Thoughts on the Blanket Memoirs?

I really enjoy reading blanket memoirs not only for the recipe tips which taste awesome but i feel its inspiring, the stories being from personal experiances makes it real which makes it relatable. It focuses on self happiness which is always a great thing to inspire in people.
